German home video release for the 19th Pokémon movie arriving this April

The German home video release for the 19th Pokémon movie, Volcanion und das mechanische Wunderwerk, is set to hit the retail stores on Apr. 6. Unlike the North American release, it will be available on both Blu-ray and DVD for EUR 15.49 and 13.99, respectively.

The Blu-ray release will include 94 minutes of content, DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 for both Deutsch and English audio tracks, and 1080p picture format with 1:78:1 widescreen aspect ratio. While the DVD will contain Dolby Digital 5.1 audio tracks for the same languages, and 1:78:1 widescreen aspect ratio for the picture format in standard quality.

The German dub for the movie initially premiered on Nickelodeon on Nov. 19 in Austria and Switzerland, followed by its release in Germany a day later.
