During his visit to the Pokémon Center store in Fukuoka, Junichi Masuda revealed that a Pikachu with ExtremeSpeed, a move which cannot be learned by said Pokémon normally, will be distributed at the Kyūshū Shinkansen railway in Japan to commemorate their new bullet train.

ExtremeSpeed (Japanese: しんそく Godspeed) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation II. It is essentially a stronger version of Quick Attack. This will follow the numerous moves Pikachu are capable of knowing through events, including Surf, Fly, Yawn and Sing.

Further details regarding the event distribution are expected to be revealed on the official site of JR Kyūshū on Feb. 27, 2012.
