Further details on the 2014 Pokémon Video Game Australian National Championships, which takes place on July 13, 2014 at the Melbourne Town Hall, have been revealed.

Mamoswine (not Shiny)

A Shiny Mamoswine, based on the one Arash Ommati used to win the 2013 Pokémon Video Game World Championships in the Masters Division, will be distributed at the event. This will likely be the same Mamoswine that was distributed at the German, UK and Italian National Championships.

There will also be a Pokémon cosplay competition, featuring a large Pokémon prize pack for the winner and smaller prize packs for four runners-up.

There will also be various Pokémon mechandise given away and sold at the event. All competitors in the Junior Division will receive a prize for competing. Episodes and movie from the Pokémon anime, including the latest season Pokémon the Series: XY, will be aired in the main foyer. There will also be an area for trying out Pokémon Art Academy, Pokémon Link: Battle! and the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
