In the past, Gamerbase has teamed up with Pokémon fan websites to run tournaments in both its London and Manchester branches, which have been a huge success both for Gamerbase and those who attend. So it is no surprise that Gamerbase has announced its fourth tournament in London, although this time it will take place in HMV's Oxford Street Circus branch on Nov. 17, 2012.

Players in this latest tournament will be welcome to use any of the Generation V games - Black, White, Black 2 or White 2. Battles will be conducted in a double elimination style, with the rules matching those of the 2012 Pokémon Video Game World Championships, but also allowing new moves and Pokémon formes from the recently released Black 2 and White 2 games.

Registration will take place between 10am and 11:15am, with the tournament expected to start a quarter of an hour later before finishing up before 7pm. As usual, a £5 registration fee will be required to cover the costs of the event. You can register at the link below, although the £5 fee must be paid at the event itself.

Players must have the C-Gear turned off during the tournament. The Wonder Launcher will not be used in the tournament. Participating Pokémon are set to level 50. Only items obtained in normal gameplay may be used, excluding the Soul Dew. If Explosion, Self-Destruct, or Final Gambit are used to force a tie, the user who initiated the attack will be declared the loser of the battle. Perish Song and Destiny Bond will also result in a loss if used by the last Pokémon. If both players' Pokémon faint at the same time, the win will go to the user of the attacking Pokémon.

Dark Void and Sky Drop may not be used.
