On Tuesday, New York's Bryant Park will be filled with Pokémon fans as Nintendo will host the Pokémon 10th Anniversary Party of the Decade 10 a.m.-5 p.m. EDT. Hosted by professional wrestler Hulk Hogan, the festivities will be broadcast live online. New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has proclaimed Tuesday "Pokémon Day" in the city.

Admission to the party, located on Sixth Avenue between 40th and 42nd Streets, will be free and open to the public. A live Web cast of the events will begin 10 a.m. EDT at the official Pokémon Web site, Pokémon.com.

Taking place at the party will be the Pokémon Video Game Nationals, a tournament to determine the top Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed and LeafGreen players in the United States. It will be held on stage, and highlights will be made available throughout the day on Pokémon.com.

Fans at the event will be able to test play the newest Pokémon games for Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, set for release in the United States Sept. 18. Those with the abovementioned games may bring them and their Game Boy Advances to download one of 20 most fan-requested Pokémon, including a promotional Pikachu that knows Fly. A list of the 20 Pokémon follows at the end of this article.

Costumed Pokémon characters, guests, announcements and musical performances will also be featured.
