Furthermore, Pikachu with a festive hat is more likely to be encountered during this period, which extends its previously announced period of availability. From Dec. 30, 2016 to Jan. 8, 2017, the {{bp|Kanto}} {{bp|starter Pokémon}} and their evolutions will appear more frequently. Additionally, during this period {{bp|Lure Module}}s will last for 60 minutes instead of 30 minutes.
