The official Japanese Pokémon site has just updated with information regarding two distributions that have occurred this year.

Two days after the first Wi-Fi distribution of the Pokéwalker area Champ Road, Mew will once again be distributed via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, as well as McDonald's restaurants and Nintendo Zone. Unlike the initial report, it is not limited to the Sinnoh-based games Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. Players of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver may once again obtain the legendary Pokémon if they have missed the first event. The distribution period will be from Jan. 29 to Feb. 14, three days longer than the what was first announced. The Mew will be at level 5, and it will be in a Cherish Ball. It will only know the move Pound, and it will hold the Premier Ribbon.

After the distribution of Mew, the Pokéwalker area Yellow Forest will be distributed again via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Players of the Japanese HeartGold and SoulSilver may obtain it from Feb. 16-28, but only if they have not obtained it during the first distribution. The Yellow Forest grants players access to an area where Pikachu can be caught. Some of these Pikachu may know the moves Surf or Fly.
