I'm half-expecting that picture of Farfetch'd to grow a thick black eyebrow and chew a cigar. Anyways, I love your articles, George. They're really insightful and help me understand the individual Pokémon so much more. Keep writing the articles as they are great fun to read. ^-^ --Mackinz 06:10, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
In the text "a certain Japanese saying: Kamo ga negi wo shotte kuru (鴨が葱を背負って来る)", what is romanised "shotte" should be "seotte". A typo? Bluesun 21:51, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
:背負 is usually pronounced "seo", but in some circumstances it seems to become "sho" - for example, in the word 背負い革, meaning 'sling'. As for this particular phrase... I actually found it romanised both ways, but "sho" seemed to be the more common of the two, and my dictionaries seem to back this up as the correct pronunciation. My Japanese is pretty awful though, so I always welcome corrections! George Hutcheon 17:41, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
::Ah, apologies, I did not know about that changing to "sho", I had only known it in words like 背中. Please ignore my original comment then. Bluesun 19:28, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
