Players who register both {{bp|Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U|''Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS'' and ''Super Smash Bros. for Wii U''}} on Club Nintendo before Jan. 20, 2015 will be able to obtain {{OBP|Mewtwo|Super Smash Bros.}} for both versions of SSB4, as well as two exclusive CDs with the music from both versions of the game.


If {{bp|Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U}} are registered on Club Nintendo before Jan. 20, 2015 at 10:59 p.m. you will obtain {{bp|Mewtwo}} for both versions of SSB4 and 2 exclusive CDs with the music from both versions of the game.
Players who register both games between Jan. 20, 2015 and March 31, 2015 will still be able to receive Mewtwo for both versions of SSB4, but not the soundtrack CDs.


If both games are registered between 11:00 p.m. on Jan. 20, 2015 through March 31, 2015 at 10:59 p.m. players will receive Mewtwo for both versions of SSB4.
Players who qualify for Mewtwo will receive download codes for it in Northern Hemisphere spring 2015.  


The codes for unlocking Mewtwo will be released in the Spring of 2015.
For the players who don't qualify for the promotion, Mewtwo will be released as paid DLC in the future.
 
For the players who don't register both versions of SSB4, it has been confirmed that Mewtwo will be released as DLC to be purchased in the future.
