Almost a year after Hungama TV started airing the anime from the very first episode with a new voice cast, the channel introduced the Indian audience to the latest series of the anime. The first two episodes of Pokémon the Series: XY, Kalos, Where Dreams and Adventures Begin and Lumiose City Pursuit debuted on the channel during rerun slots, without any promos.
The anime first debuted in India in 2003 with Pokémon: Indigo League, on the Indian counterpart of Cartoon Network. Having aired upto Pokémon: DP Battle Dimension, the anime was shifted to its sister channel, Pogo TV in 2011, which aired upto Pokémon: Black and White. In 2014, the rights to the anime were acquired by Hungama TV, which started Pokémon: Indigo League with a new voice cast. It currently airs Pokémon Master Quest.
