Nearly eight years after its original release in U.S. theaters, Pokémon 3: The Movie is now available for digital download from the Apple iTunes Store. Viewers may rent the movie for $2.99 or purchase it for $9.99.

The English-language movie is in widescreen format (as opposed to the fullscreen of the original DVD version), and for users of the Apple TV digital media receiver, it is available in high definition, marking the first time a Pokémon movie has been available in high definition in the U.S. market.

It is not known if or when other Pokémon movies will become available for digital download. The film was distributed in the United States by Warner Bros.
