It would be nice if the Bulbanews editors actually looked at their sources more carefully; was the only reason you accepted [http://i52.tinypic.com/24wrrzd.jpg] as a source because it came from the Bulbagarden forum, or is the pre-release rush lowering your standards so you can keep up with everyone else? If you had indeed read more carefully, you would have noticed that the last pages, containing the starter Pokemon's evolutions, were actually scanned in English reading order. If they were scanned in Japanese reading order, then the numbers would indeed be on the outer edge of the pages like the other scans. They're as real as real can be, if for example that Chaobu has been mentioned in other, 'genuine', pages. --[[User:Trance|Trance]] 09:32, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

::By that logic, ANY pokemon that wasn't Desukan, Denchula or the cat and dragon ones may have been faked (like Yorterri or the afro bull, for example) just because they weren't shown in Pokemon Sunday and could've been put in with confirmed info to make them all seem real; yet, they still have their own Bulbapedia pages. I think you're being rather silly. Scroll down to the fourth and fifth pics. Really since we have individual pages for Buffalon, Dangoro, Monmen and the like, there is very little reason to not also provide them for the starter's first evolutions. Any kind of reasoning everyone seems to have against this should also apply to a few others but doesn't, so what's the holdup?[[User:Marlowe|Marlowe]] 13:16, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

Where were the starter evolutions confirmed? Also, the Pokémon section is repeated twice. Turtwig A 14:05, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Yorterrie

Wouldn't it make since to change Yorterri to Yorterrie since thats what its Romanization is? Gin (Pokebeach Translator) did the same to Buffalon. I think we should make the change to Yorterri.Orochimaru 00:04, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Denchura

If we're going to actually interpret the katakana as opposed to simply Romanizing it (i.e. Buffalon vs. Baffaron) then we should probably make it Dentula, not Denchura.—Urutapu 16:39, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Corrections

  • いやしのはどう is "Healing Pulse"
  • クリアスモッグ is "Clear Smog"
  • It should probably just be "Elec Ball", since it comes from "electric" (エレキトリック). "Eleci" looks awkward.

Legitamacy of Starter Evos

This picture (http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:CoroCoro_BW28.jpg) proves the legitamacy of the starters evos because everything matches up to previous pages of CoroCoro October. I didn't know if this was to go here or in the forums but I put it here first for articles sake.--6259 20:27, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Starter evos info boxes

If the legitimacy of that page is indeed in question, then shouldn't the info boxes for those pokemon be removed? Morgil27 06:00, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Starter Evo page

It would be nice if the Bulbanews editors actually looked at their sources more carefully; was the only reason you accepted [1] as a source because it came from the Bulbagarden forum, or is the pre-release rush lowering your standards so you can keep up with everyone else? If you had indeed read more carefully, you would have noticed that the last pages, containing the starter Pokemon's evolutions, were actually scanned in English reading order. If they were scanned in Japanese reading order, then the numbers would indeed be on the outer edge of the pages like the other scans. They're as real as real can be, if for example that Chaobu has been mentioned in other, 'genuine', pages. --Trance 09:32, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
