The fortieth volume of the Pokémon Adventures manga has been announced. The upcoming volume is set to be released in Japan in the end of May 2012. However, the exact release date is currently unknown.

Pokémon Adventures volume 40's release date announced

This volume will feature the adventures of Platinum Berlitz while she continues to investigate the Distortion World to rescue her missing bodyguards Paka and Uji. Joining Platinum is her two friends Diamond and Pearl, who continue to search for the Legendary and rare Pokémon of Sinnoh region to protect them from Team Galactic.

Unlike previous volumes, the rounds included in this volume were not released in the original magazine publication of Pokémon Adventures, therefore making this volume filled with completely original content.
