==Languages== | |||
Is there really, as the table suggests, only one possible language per country in the Magmar and Electabuzz event? Is it true that, if I am in Portugal and my game is in English, I can't receive the gift? If, as I think, the answer is "no" (other pairs, like "Belgium-English" don't seem to make much sense, just to add to the fact that Spanish isn't an official language of Portugal), could someone please correct it, by putting the country in the column of the right? Because right now it's very confusing. Latest revision as of 20:49, 26 July 2014
Can we only show the on-going events? Adding the upcoming events lengthens the front page too much. Perhaps we can show the upcoming events on a different page, like what we did on upcoming episodes. ►Ҝəυzø8 02:54, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah. I figured out how to do it. tc26, if you want to make a page like Upcoming events, base it off of Template:Current events/1.--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 11:36, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
One event is out-to-date... Someone please fix it! --EricPires9 23:03, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
Events
February 4, 2010 and I still cannot get Mew over the WFC. Is this event actuallly going on?
- Are you using a Japanese HGSS game? Are you using Mystery Gift>Get via Nintendo WFC? If not, there's your issue. Else, bring it to the forums. Actually, bring it to the forums no matter what if you can't solve it.--immewnitythemew 00:41, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
Argh, I'm really lost and a brand new poster (as should be obvious), but I've got something really potentially relevant to this article and I just wanted to make sure everyone knew. Today at Gamestop I was told there is to be a Jirachi event that hasn't been revealed, which is to start the day the shiny Pichu event ends. No idea where to put this or how to format it, I'll leave that to someone more qualified. Drellus 01:58, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Links to US events
The North American/USA events are linked to Japanese events from last year. Can they please link to the correct event Pokémon? Thanks! Jazzmoth 15:09, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
Arceus
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Nintendo_event_Pok%C3%A9mon_in_2010 Shouldn't the Arceus being distributed in most of Europe be on this? Parallel
- I'd say so, but I truly have no idea how to do this one. Ask tc26; he made Events and knows the formatting. I've gotten it wrong before.--immewnitythemew 01:24, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
- http://www.game.co.uk/lowdown.aspx?lid=13168&cm_sp=pokemon-_-topnav-_-participatingstores Ok, UK Arceus has been announced, can someone with persmission edit this in? Parallel
HELLO?!
I don't know how to do this, but some events were put on Upcoming side, AND IT'S ALREADY HAPPENING!!! (Sorry, but capital letters always grabs people attention)--The Bulb's Master 00:22, 1 March 2010 (UTC) (I'm back!!)
- Sorry for that, it hasn't been updated recently; we're way too busy to do so. Also, there's no need to capitalize for catching attentions. We're patrolling the recent changes. Thanks for the notice, ►Ҝəυzø8 14:15, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
- That makes me wonder - would you like someone (for instance, me) to just go through and make sure the events shown are current and make the necessary changes? I look at the page frequently enough as is; a little coding would be fun and it would lighten your load. ;) Jazzmoth 00:25, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

Australian Toys "R" Us Jirachi
Shouldn't the Australian Toys "R" Us Jirachi be listed under "upcoming"? It goes from June 3rd to 13th, 2010. Or is this just for Wi-Fi events? Bttsstewart 08:06, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
Removal of outdated events
The Crown Legendary Beasts and 7-Eleven Pikachu events have ended. They should be removed from the "Ongoing" section. Phantomjunkie 02:27, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
edit
Japanese B&W release is history, liberty ticket is ongoing, and while you're on it, Australian PokéPark Wii release is tomorrow, so that should soon be updated too. ^^ --BlackySully 19:33, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

BW release date announced
Nintendo announced that Black and White will be released on March 6, 2011, so the North America release date doesn't have to be the vague "Spring 2011" anymore on the table. Titoxd(?!?) 00:05, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
Celebi Event?
The upcoming Celebi event should be added. Chum 03:16, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
The date on this event is wrong. It says that it starts on the 27th but the official site says it starts on the 21st. http://www.pokemongoldsilver.com/us/#/news/celebi And I quote,"For a limited time, get the Time Travel Pokemon Celebi via the character distribution event. Stop by the Pokemon Black Version & White Version Tour as it travels across the nation beginning February 5th, or vist Gamestop stores starting on February 21st." - unsigned comment from Franco Castaneda (talk • contribs)
Zoroark Wi-Fi Event
On this page it says the Zoroark event runs from Jan 16 to Feb 6, but when you look at the List of Nintendo event Pokemon page, it says "February 15 to March 14, 2011", so which one is correct? Furthermore, is it possible to access Japanese Wi-Fi events with a Japanese game without actually being in Japan? --RWS 01:36, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
- There are two distributions with currently the same "event name." If you look below, there's another one. The one you saw here is the one in Japan only. The one you saw on Bulbapedia was the Wi-Fo one. And yes, you can access Wi-Fi events without being in the country. You just need the right game version. tc²₆tc26 06:02, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
Entei Event
Sorry to be a bother, but the Entei event has been over for a week. Also the Suicune, Pikachu, and Satoshi's Zuruggu are now active.--Landon Uri 14:03, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
English Wi Fi Crown Beast
Should someone add them to the "Upcoming" section? Bttsstewart 13:18, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
US Victini
US gets a Liberty Ticket over wi-fi from 6th March till 10th April. I've heard somewhere that Europe gets the wi-fi event for the same dates, but can not find confirmation of that. Iralie 14:58, 8 February 2011 (UTC) The dates for this have been confirmed. http://www.nintendo.com/whatsnew/detail/vmoPQzY6Yq_6DGwd0x_t22e5KvX8_6yJ March 6th to April 10th.
- The UK dates for the Victini Liberty Ticket release will be March 4th - April 22nd, and it will be available over WiFi. I got this from the UK Black and white site, http://www.pokemonblackwhite.com/en-gb/pokemon/special-encounters/ 011284mm 20:23, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
Feb. 13 Entei?
I was going to download Raikou to my game and Entei is what I got, but Entei shouldn't have started yet because its not the 14th yet. Any suggestions? - unsigned comment from Dalton358 (talk • contribs)
Canadian Ash's Pikachu?
The dates for the Canadian offer overlap and is later than the US offer, why is this not on there? I would put it in myself, but I can't. Dates is already confirmed. I don't see what the problem could possibly be.--Mondoblasto 19:53, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
- Done. With all the events going on right now, it apparently got overlooked. George Hutcheon 20:02, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
- Cool, thanks! ^^--Mondoblasto 04:45, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
US Celebi wrong Event end date
I left a similar message on the front pages talk page but since I can leave one here to I though this would be better. The US Celebi event ends March 6th not March 7th I cannot change it however since I believe you have to be an auto confirmed user to edit this article. Could someone please change it for me.--Marchbaby 14:58, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

If I'm correct, the North American (or International? Not sure) Victini event starts tomorrow/today (depending on your time zone), but isn't in the upcoming nor current events. --BaileyPlaysPokemon 06:09, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

Misspelling/mislinking
I believe this line in the source
{{event/wifi|494|Movie 14 Vicini|n=Movie 14
Victini|year=2012|June|12|June|26|EN|BW}}
should be
{{event/wifi|494|English Movie Victini|n=Movie 14
Victini|year=2012|June|12|June|26|EN|BW}}
(highlighted the change)
It's under the 'Wi-Fi' heading. GoldenCelebi (talk) 17:12, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Oh, and the Porygon at the very bottom of the list is available in Europe now, although the password source is Eurogamer, not IGN. GoldenCelebi (talk) 08:19, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
GL Porygon
It claims that the global link Porygon is only for NA/Aus/NZ accounts however this is not so because I have a UK account and I was able to get it Jmvb (talk) 23:30, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

XY languages
Are you sure the Blazikenite Torchic event won't apply to the Korean versions? Because this is the first time a single game has all the languages (that can be selected at the beginning), so I was wondering... TheOriginalOne 16:14, 11 August 2013 (UTC)
- At this time there isn't confirmation of the event. Neither Mega Blaziken nor Torchic are mentioned on the official site just yet. Once it is confirmed, then it will be added. ㄱ쉰 G50 16:36, 11 August 2013 (UTC)
