The 16th movie has been announced for Korea. The movie will premier in winter, 2013. The Eevee short 피카츄와어브어프렌즈 Pikachu and Eevee Friends featuring Eevee and its evolutions will also be aired.

The official website revealed the teaser poster of the movie, with only Genesect name featured in the title. The teaser title was written as 신의 속도 게노세크트 Extreme Speed Genesect.
