Pokémon Sunday confirmed in its most recent episode that the rumor of the Sinnoh dex receiving 59 new Pokémon in Platinum, is true. Known new numbers include Froslass at #208 and Giratina at #210. It is unknown at this time on what the other Pokémon will be, but it is rumored to be all the other Diamond and Pearl Pokémon that were unobtainable before beating the game.
