In an announcement today, The Pokémon Company revealed that a brand new Pokémon RPG is set to be released later this year. At this time there are no details on the title of the game, or an exact release date.

Preliminary translations of the announcement say this title will feature an original story, and new Pokémon. This news comes a few weeks before the February 2010 edition of CoroCoro, which is set to reveal a "surprising announcement" this announcement could be related to this title.
