Pokemon4life is playing old Pokémon games to raise money for British Red Cross for relief in Japan. By donating money, you can decide how the game is played, who is trained and what nicknames to give Pokémon. Currently, they are playing Pokémon Red, but will be moving onto other games up to Ruby/Sapphire. The event is only running until the 16th of April.

From their website: Pokemon 4 Life is a student fundrasing group attending Aberystwyth University in Wales, UK. Our first event will be Pokemon 4 Japan, due to go live at 7pm (GMT) on the 11th of April. This will consist of a 4 day marathon of pure Pokémon happiness, livestreamed for your viewing pleasure. This stunt of possible stupidity is all for Japanese Tsunami relief. Expect lots of features and special donation events. Pokemon4Japan is in aid of 'The British Red Cross', all money goes directly to them and does not pass through our hands. We do not represent the charity, and the views or opinions expressed by us are not those of 'The British Red Cross' We'll be playing: Red/Blue Gold/Silver Fire Red/Leaf Green Ruby/Sapphire Catching 'em all, like a boss. (Hopefully)
