Niantic have announced a special trading event for Pokémon GO. The event runs from August 2 1:00 P.M. PDT to August 19 1:00 P.M. PDT. Firstly, all trades, including Special Trades, will cost 25% less Stardust to complete. This applies to all friends. Secondly, players can earn more Candy during every trade, meaning six Candies total. Finally, if players encounter a Pokémon not currently in their Pokédex, players will receive triple XP.
