The Pokémon Trading Card Game and Video Game World Championships will take place in the Hilton Waikoloa Village in Hawaii once again, similar to the 2007 World Championships. The finals will take place on Aug. 14-15, with the Last Chance Qualifier occurring on Friday, Aug. 13.

As revealed by the official Japanese Pokémon site before, the 2010 Video Game Championships will make use of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Previously-banned legendary Pokémon, such as Mewtwo and Deoxys, will also be allowed to enter.
