The Japan Representative Tournament will be streamed live via Nico Nico from 2 to 5 p.m. on June 22. This tournament will decide who will represent Japan in the three age divisions at the 2013 World Championships in August.

Registration is required to view content aired on Nico Nico and there is the chance that during intervals of play the stream will cut out to allow for scheduled down time. The battles streamed will be the Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 Nintendo DS games for all divisions. The tournament floor will not be open to the public and only those who have been invited from the three divisions, junior, senior and master will be allowed to compete.

It is unknown if commentary for the event will be provided.
