The 21st Pokémon movie has been officially announced on the morning show Oha Suta. Tentatively titled 「劇場版ポケットモンスター ２０１８」 Pocket Monsters the Movie: 2018, its Japanese theatrical release is set for July 13. As the date suggests, it will hit the big screen on a Friday, unlike any of its predecessors.
Furthermore, the official Japanese website states:
「“キミにきめた！”から始まった、新たな冒険。2018年のポケモン映画最新情報が、ついに解禁！」
