A listing has appeared on Amazon.com for "Pokémon Adventures: Black 2 & White 2 volume 1". Based on the volume's 200 page length, it is extremely likely that this will be an English version of the full-length {{bp|Pokémon Adventures volume 52}}, which was released in Japan in December 2014. VIZ Media's English translation is due for release on January 3, 2017 (ISBN 1421584379).

This will be the first full-length Pokémon Adventures volume release by VIZ Media since the release of {{bp|Pokémon Adventures volume 51}} (titled as Pokémon Adventures: Black & White volume 6) in October 2015. All of VIZ Media's Pokémon Adventures releases in 2016 have been mini-volume length collections based on the magazine version of Pokémon Adventures.

With this volume, VIZ Media will have released all 52 full-length Pokémon Adventures currently available in Japan. It is not currently known when Volume 53 will be available in Japanese; as since 2015 {{bp|Shogakukan}} has only published collections of the {{bp|X & Y chapter (Adventures)|''X & Y'' chapter}} and the {{bp|Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire chapter (Adventures)|''Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire'' chapter}} based on the magazine version of Pokémon Adventures.
