Korean boxart for Super Smash Bros. for 3DS

In South Korea, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, amiibo and the NFC reader/writer will all be released on the same day, September 10, 2015.

While it was previously announced that Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS would be released in South Korea this year, the exact release date was not known; the other two products had not been previously announced for a Korean release. The game will retail for ₩49,000.

The first wave of amiibo will be Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, Link, Bowser, and Luigi. This is the same as the first wave of amiibo in Japan, the Americas, Europe and Australia. Each amiibo will cost ₩14,000.

Additionally, a bundle of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and a Pikachu amiibo will be available at launch. This bundle will retail for ₩58,000. (Pikachu is the only amiibo that will be available as part of a bundle.)

The NFC reader/writer will also be released on the same day, retailing for ₩25,000. The NFC reader/writer is an upcoming peripheral for the Nintendo 3DS, 3DS XL and 2DS that allows them to read and write to amiibo like the New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL. It will be released in Japan on July 30, 2015, and is expected to be released on the same day as Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer in North America and Europe (September 25, 2015 and October 2, 2015, respectively).
