For comparison, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Versions sold 1.58 million copies in the same time period. Pokémon Black and White were also the fastest pre-selling DS games, with well over one million preorders before release. The games are set to be released in spring of 2011 in South Korea, North America, Europe, and Australia.
