The Circle of Legends Wi-Fi competition has been announced. Players may register between midnight UTC on July 16 and 11:59 p.m. on July 23. The competition will be held from midnight UTC on July 24 until 11:59 p.m. on July 26. Players born in 2000 or later will be in the Junior Division. Players born in 1999 or earlier will be in the Master Division. The rankings will be released in early August. 1,000 Poké Miles will be available for participants who win or lose at least one battle. 50,000 spots will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis

This competition is a Rotation Battles tournament, with only Legendary and Mythical Pokémon eligible for use. These Pokémon may be used: Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Mew, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Dialga, Palkia, Heatran, Regigigas, Giratina, Cresselia, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Tornadus, Thundurus, Reshiram, Zekrom, Landorus, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, and Diancie.

Players will use Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire for this competition. Pokémon that were transferred from Pokémon Black and White and Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 may be used. Players must register 4-6 Pokémon in the Battle Box on the PC. All Pokémon will be set to level 100. Players may battle 10 times per day for a maximum of 30 battles. Each battle will take a maximum of 20 minutes. Players will have 90 seconds to choose which Pokémon they will battle with and will have 45 seconds for each turn.
