Red, Blue and Mew

Nendoroids based on the designs of Red and Blue (known as Green in Japan) featured in the original Pokémon games, Pokémon Red and Green, will be released in Japan later this year.

The pair will be available in a special set that also includes a Mew figure. The set will be available for preorder from Feb. 27 (the 20th anniversary of Pokémon Red and Green) until March 31, 2016. The figures will be delivered July 9, 2016.

The set will also include two Poké Ball props and a backpack prop for the figures.

This Red Nendoroid is based on the Pokémon Red and Green, whereas the previously released Red Nendoroid was based on the Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen design.

Nendoroid is a series of figures produced by Good Smile Company. They typically feature anime or manga characters, and are mostly distributed in Japan. They are designed to be about 10 cm tall with a large head and small body to look cute. They have interchangeable and movable body parts and faces to allow a variety of expressions and poses.

Previously available Pokémon Nendoroids include Red (in his Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen design), Cynthia, and N.

The Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen Red is being re-released in the United States this year in "Pokémon Trainer Red: Champion Ver." It will be available on PokemonCenter.com near the end of this month.
