The press release detailing the previously reported European release of {{bp|Pokémon Black and White Versions}} has revealed that the "Crown Beasts" - shiny versions of the {{bp|Legendary}} Beast trio {{p|Raikou}}, {{p|Entei}} and {{p|Suicune}} - will be available over the Nintendo {{bp|Wi-Fi Connection}} throughout February 2011 to all main series {{bp|Generation IV}} games.  Raikou will be distributed from Feb. 7 to 13, Entei from Feb. 14 to 20, and Suicune from Feb. 21 to 27.  Like last year's {{bp|Pikachu Colored Pichu}} and {{p|Jirachi}}, these events will be available to those in North America (and elsewhere) who weren't able to participate in the equivalent retail event held in their own country.  In addition to English, the Beast trio will be downloadable to owners of French, German, Italian and Spanish-language games.

The Crown Beasts, when transferred to {{bp|Pokémon Black Version}} or {{bp|Pokémon White Version}} will allow the player to battle and capture a level 25 {{p|Zoroark}}, a Pokémon not available through normal means.

The press release also confirmed that an event for {{p|Celebi}} will be available in the United Kingdom in the near future.
