On November 25, 2011, the day after Thanksgiving, voice actor {{bp|Dan Green}}, who once voiced {{bp|Ash's Treecko}}, has lost his wife, voice actress and singer Michal Friedman, after she gave birth to twins, who were born healthy.
On November 25, 2011, the day after Thanksgiving, voice actor {{bp|Dan Green}} became a father to a pair of healthy twins; a boy and a girl. However, his wife passed away during childbirth. Heartbroken by these chain of events, friend and fellow voice actor {{bp|Mike Pollock}} has made a website where fans may leave caring messages to Dan in his time of tragedy, and may also donate to help aide the children who are now without a mother.
 
We are deeply grieved by this turn of events and wish Dan Green all the best during these troubled times. Dan is known for voicing a number of humans such as {{bp|Professor Birch}}, and {{bp|Ash's Treecko}} along with many other Pokémon in the English dub of the {{bp|Pokémon anime}}, {{wp|Knuckles the Echidna|Knuckles}} from {{wp|Sonic the Hedgehog (series)|Sonic the Hedgehog}}, {{wp|Yugi Mutou}} from {{wp|Yu-Gi-Oh (1998 TV series)|Yu-Gi-Oh}}, along with many others.
