Details for the Pikachu event distribution that will be held at the "Pikachu Outbreak!" event at Minato Mirai in Yokohama, Japan have been announced. Pikachu's nickname will depend on the location that it was obtained at during the event. Pikachu will have an OT of Minatomirai and will be level 10. It will come in a Cherish Ball and will have the Event Ribbon. It will be holding a Light Ball and will have the moves Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Surf and Hold Hands.

Pikachu will be distributed at these locations (Nickname:Location) -

Landmark: Yokohama Landmark Tower, Landmark Plaza 1F, Near Festival Square
Cosmo W: Yokohama Cosmo World, Wonder Amuse Zone, Near the Central Plaza underneath the large Ferris Wheel
Red Brick: Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, Near the Pikachu Seaside Cottage
Ship Captain:
- a) Nipponmaru Memorial Park, Near the Arena
- b) The Restaurant Ship 'Royal Wing', Ōsanbashi Pier International Passenger Terminal, by the Royal Wing Ticket Counter
- c) Yokohama Sea Ferry 'Sea Bus', near the Yamashita Park Boarding Ticket seller, or near the Yokohama Station East Exit Ticket Counter
Pacifico: Pacifico Yokohama D Hall

Players may only receive one Pikachu with the nickname Ship Captain.
