New special stages are available in {{bp|Pokémon Shuffle}} (3DS) and {{bp|Pokémon Shuffle Mobile}}.

To celebrate 5 million downloads of the Nintendo 3DS version, a Diancie special stage "Commemorative Event" is now live in both the Nintendo 3DS version and Pokémon Shuffle Mobile. This special stage will be available until September 28, 2015. This special stage is limited to 20 moves. The player will receive 1 Jewel the first time they successfully complete this stage.

In Pokémon Shuffle (3DS), a series of "Great Challenge" special stages featuring the {{bp|Legendary golems|Legendary titans}} will be available. While Regirock has previously been available in Pokémon Shuffle, Registeel and Regice have not.
*The {{p|Regirock}} special stage is available from September 14 to 18, 2015.
*The {{p|Registeel}} special stage will be available from September 18 to 23, 2015.
*The {{p|Regice}} special stage will be available from September 23 to 28, 2015.

In Pokémon Shuffle Mobile, the special stage "The Daily Pokémon (#2)" is now live, and will be available until September 26, 2015. In this group of special stages, a different Pokémon will be available each weekday. While "The Daily Pokémon (#2)" has previously been available in Pokémon Shuffle (3DS), this is the first time it will be available in Pokémon Shuffle Mobile.
