Dub of 'Black Hero,' 'White Hero' to be released this December: Difference between revisions

The latest {{bp|M14|two movies}} in the Pokémon anime series have had their English titles and release dates revealed on Pokémon.com.

「ビクティニと{{tt|黒|くろ}}き{{tt|英雄|えいゆう}}ゼクロム」 ''Victini and the Black Hero: Zekrom'' and ビクティニと{{tt|白|しろ}}き{{tt|英雄|えいゆう}}レシラム ''Victini and the White Hero: Reshiram'' will come out in the US in December with the titles '''''Pokémon The Movie: White—Victini and Zekrom''''' and '''''Pokémon The Movie: Black—Victini and Reshiram''''', respectively.

The two movies form the collective pair '''{{tt|劇場版|げきじょうばん}} ポケットモンスターベストウイッシュ <span lang=ja>The First Movie</span>''' ''Theatrical Version - Pocket Monsters Best Wishes!:  The First Movie'', which has not yet been given an English title.

Each movie has {{bp|Ash}}, and his friends, {{an|Cilan}} and {{an|Iris}} arriving in {{bp|Eindoak Town}} to compete in a battle competition. There, they meet the mythical Pokémon {{bp|Victini (movie 14)|Victini}} and {{bp|Damon}}, a man who aims to use Victini for his own gains.

Like in the video games, the plots in the paired movies vary slightly. For those who don't mind spoilers, Bulbapedia has a {{bp|M14#Differences_between_Black_Hero:_Zekrom_and_White_Hero:_Reshiram|list of differences between versions}}.

While no exact release date has been confirmed yet, Cinedigm Digital Cinema will show these movies in theaters for a limited one-weekend special event on Dec. 3 and Dec. 4, 2011.

The ''Victini'' films' Japanese theatrical release was on July 16, 2011.
