The "Enter the Dragon Type" Wi-Fi competition has been announced. Players may register between 2 p.m. JST on March 12 and 8:59 a.m. JST on March 20. The competition will be held from 9 a.m. JST on March 20 and 8:59 a.m. JST on March 23. Players will use the Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games. There will be 50,000 spots available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Players born in 2000 or later will be in the Junior Division. Players born in 1999 or earlier will be in the Master Division. Junior Division players may only battle between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. locally. The rankings will be announced on March 27. This tournament will be a Double Battles tournament, where players must use at least one Dragon-type Pokémon on their team. Players may only use a maximum of two of these Pokémon - Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, and Diancie.

Pokémon that were transferred from previous games will be eligible for this competition. Pokémon will be set to level 50 for this competition. They must be registered in the Battle Box on the PC. Each battle will take a maximum of 30 minutes. Players will have 90 seconds to decide which four Pokémon they will bring into battle. They will have 60 seconds to use a move or switch Pokémon each turn. Players may battle 10 times a day for a maximum of 30 battles during the entire tournament.


Amaura

Participants that battle three times and record a win or loss in each battle will receive Amaura with its Hidden Ability Snow Warning. It will be level 10 and will have the moves: Growl, Powder Snow, Thunder Wave and Rock Throw. After the rankings are released on March 27, Amaura will be available for participants.
