Farfetch'd has been released worldwide for the next 48hours in Pokémon Go for players reaching the Gold Reward in the games most recent challenge. Players around the world succeeded in catching 3 billion Pokémon, the final goal of the challenge. Players around the world also achieved the Bronze and Silver awards in the process awarding the following:

Farfetch'd Pokémon

Bronze: {500 million catches} Double XP, 6 hour Lure Modules, and more Pokémon appearing Globally

Silver: {1.5 billion Catches}: Bronze Rewards, Double Stardust and even more Pokemon appearing Globally

Gold: {3 Billion Catches} Bronze and Silver Awards, as well as, Farfetch'd spawn worldwide and Kanghaskhan Available in East Asia.

The Pokémon Go app Twitter announced the release evening of Nov. 25th, giving a rare chance for players around the world to receive a Pokémon usually only found in East Asia, Globally.
