First XY TCG products unveiled called Beginning Sets, two different varieties coming in both regular and deluxe versions

The first XY TCG products have been unveiled for Japan. Just like for the BW Era Beginning Set deck kits, these are also named Beginning Sets. Beginning Set and Beginning Set for Girls will be released on Nov. 8. The deluxe versions called Beginning Set DX and Beginning Set DX for Girls will be released on Nov. 15.

The Beginning Set will include 42 damage counters and 2 status markers on one sheet, with a damage counter case, one Pokémon coin, one manual, one play mat, one Player's Guide, and one How-to-Play DVD for learning how to play the game. The How-To-Play DVD is taught by Meowth, and contains the contents of the BW How-To-Play DVD along with new footage. It will also include three Half Decks and will cost ¥1,980. The three 30-card decks will be based off of the Pokémon X and Y starter Pokémon Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie.

The Beginning Set for Girls will also include 42 damage counters and 2 status markers on one sheet, with a damage counter case, one Pokémon coin, one manual, one play mat, one Player's Guide, and one How-to-Play DVD for learning how to play the game. The three 30-card decks will be based off of the Pokémon X and Y starter Pokémon Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie.
