The title of the October 6 episode of the Pokémon anime was revealed this morning. エスパーVSゴースト！真夜中の決闘!? ESPer VS Ghost! Midnight Duel!? is the 146th episode of Advanced Generation.

Speculation focuses around the "ESPer VS Ghost" part of the title. "ESPer" is the Japanese name for Psychic-type, while "Ghost" is the same in both English and Japanese. However, "Ghost" is also the Japanese name of Haunter.

The 24th episode of the original Pokémon series had a similar title- ゴーストVSエスパー！ Ghost VS ESPer!. The English title of that episode was Haunter VS Kadabra. Whether AG146 will see the return of the Haunter that Ash befriended in his original tour through Kanto has yet to be seen. Check back with Bulbanews as more information becomes available.
