Live Competitions are online competitions held through the Pokémon Global Link. They are now back in VGC Premier Challenges and higher TPCi or The Pokémon Company International events. TPCi operate in the West. Premier Challenges are small events in the Championship Series season and are for players of all abilities to try competitive Pokémon play in person.

It has been announced that 4 specific moves are banned until the version 1.2 update. These will be banned effective immediately at all Play! Pokémon Premier Events and continuing until the release of patch 1.2 for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon:

It has also been revealed to us by a judge that “Seemingly these are the moves most likely to cause the IR Disconnect glitch.”
