During a Nintendo Direct segment last August, Nintendo announced "HarmoKnight", a rhythm platformer game directed by GameFreak's James Turner and the game was released in Japan as a digital only title on the Nintendo 3DS's eShop digital store the following month. A North American release was later confirmed during a subsequent Nintendo Direct segment, with a release date of March 28th, 2013, with a demo being made available to download from the North American eShop yesterday. Today, Nintendo went to Twitter to announce that the game will be released in Europe on the same day as America - March 28th, with a demo being released next week.

Although the game isn't a Pokémon title, it does feature five stages inspired by and featuring music from, the Pokémon series.
