Nintendo HK has announced that the 2016 Pokémon World Championships Hong Kong Video Game National Championships will be held on July 3, 2016. Other details such as the site of the tournament will be privately sent to the participants.

Participants will receive a souvenir and a code for the Shiny Mewtwo with the Hidden Ability Unnerve.

Registration for the tournament is free, but will only be limited to the first 106 participants. Those who registered after the 106th will be placed on the waiting list. In the event that one of the participants is unable to attend the event, registrants on the waiting list will be given the chance to partake in the tournament.

The Video Game National Championships was originally scheduled to be held in iSQUARE on June 9, 2016, but was later postponed for undisclosed reasons.
