The next Japanese card release, 「ロストリンク」 Lost Link, was officially announced by the Japanese Pokémon Card website. Included in the update were images of Darkrai & Cresselia LEGEND, Mew Prime, Lucario, and a new Stadium card, Lost World, as well as a couple promotional cards. Lost Link will be using Reinforcement Packs instead of Expansion Packs, and each pack will contain only seven cards instead of eleven. Other confirmed cards for this sub-set include Magnezone Prime, Absol Prime, and Gengar Prime.

In addition to the Lost Link information, the card database also released information about four new promotional cards: Espeon Prime, Umbreon Prime, Zangoose, and another new Goods card, Lost Remover. The new Espeon and Umbreon cards are promotions for the Pokémon Daisuki Club's Action Point system, which replaced the Pokémon Fan Club and its EXP Point system in May 2008. They are Special Rank cards, each worth 7,200 PCG Action Points. The Special Rank is the second highest rank. The other two promotional cards, Zangoose and Lost Remover, and the participant's prize and winner's prize, respectively, for the Lost Link Release Commemoration Tournament.

Lost Link is due out in Japan on April 16, and it will have 40 cards.
