March 2010 CoroCoro features new Pokémon, Ranger game: Difference between revisions

Scans from the March 2010 issue of CoroCoro have surfaced, revealing the {{bp|Pokémon}} silhouetted on {{bp|Pokémon Sunday}}. The first known {{bp|Generation V}} Pokémon is named ゾロアーク ''Zoroark''. This Pokémon holds the "key" to the upcoming {{bp|Pokémon movie}}, ''{{bp|M13|Ruler of Illusions Zoroark}}''. Additionally, the scan shows its pre-{{bp|evolution}}, ゾロア ''Zoroa''.  The scans also feature information on the upcoming game, ''{{bp|Pokémon Ranger: Locus of Light}}''.  

According to the scan, '''Zoroark''' is the {{bp|species|Monster Fox Pokémon}} and is a {{type|Dark}}. It is 1.6m tall and weighs 81.1kg. It evolves from '''Zoroa''', a pure {{type|Dark}} and is the Evil Fox Pokémon. It is 0.7m tall and weighs 12.5kg.

Four missions have also been revealed for the games. {{p|Deoxys}} can be obtained in Attack Forme learning the {{bp|move}} {{m|Comet Punch}}, and in Defense Forme with the move {{m|Detect}}. The former can be obtained if the player clears the mission with less than 5 minutes. The other mission is where the player obtains the {{bp|Manaphy}} egg, just like the previous {{bp|Pokémon Ranger}} games. The two missions are available March 6 to May 17.

The other special missions for the game involves capturing of {{p|Shaymin}} (in Sky Forme), and a Heatran that will know the move {{m|Eruption}} when transferred to {{game|HeartGold and SoulSilver|s}}. These missions are available March 18 to May 17.

''Ruler of Illusions Zoroark'' will premiere in Japan on July 10, while Pokémon Ranger: Locus of Light will be released March 6 in Japan.
