{{p|Marshadow}} will be distributed via local wireless for {{bp|Pokémon Sun and Moon}} at screenings of ''{{bp|M20|Pokémon the Movie 20: I Choose You!}}'' at theaters in Japan. This Marshadow is bundled with a {{bp|Marshadium Z}}, so players will receive the {{bp|Z-Crystal}} upon collecting the Marshadow.

This Marshadow will be {{bp|level}} 50 and know the moves {{m4|Spectral Thief|Close Combat|Force Palm|Shadow Ball}}. Its {{bp|Original Trainer}} is テンセイざん ({{bp|Mount Tensei}}). It has a {{bp|Wishing Ribbon}} and is in a {{bp|Cherish Ball}}.

{{m|Spectral Thief}} is Marshadow's {{bp|signature move}} and had not previously been officially revealed, although fans had discovered in the games' data. If Marshadow holds a Marshadium Z, it can upgrade Spectral Thief into its exclusive {{bp|Z-Move}}, {{m|Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike}}. Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike had not previously been officially revealed, although it also had been discovered by fans previously.
