The Mega Evolution feature in Pokémon Duel has been changed. When players set a Mega-Evolved figure in their deck, a Mega Evolution plate will automatically show up during a duel. This plate can be used to mega evolve a Pokémon.

In addition, a new summer update has been announced with log-in bonuses and new mega evolutions. [UX] Mega Salamence, [EX] Rare Metal, and [EX] Ingot will appear as special log-in bonuses. These bonuses can be collected from August 17, 2018 to August 31, 2018 at 7:59 a.m. PDT. These can only be redeemed once. [UX] Mega Gyarados will appear as an event reward during the Queen's Cup in August.
