Code cards for the {{bp|Pokémon 20th Anniversary|20th anniversary}} {{p|Mew}} will be available at EB Games stores in Canada from Feb. 1, 2016. Codes will be available until supplies run out or the end of February. The codes will all be valid until May 31, 2016.

Code cards will be available at all EB Games stores in Canada.

These codes can be redeemed in {{bp|Pokémon X and Y|Pokémon X, Y}}, {{bp|Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire|Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire}}. {{bp|List of PAL region serial code event Pokémon distributions in Generation VI#Pokémon 20th Anniversary Mew|This Mew}} will be {{p|level}} 100 and know the move {{m|Pound}}.

This event has only had minor promotion on EB Games Canada's Twitter, with some information only coming from replies on their Twitter account.

This distribution is the first of the [[Mythical Pokémon to be distributed throughout 2016|Mythical Pokémon distributions]] being held to promote the {{bp|Pokémon 20th Anniversary}}. A different Pokémon will be distributed during each month this year (except January). All of the distributions are confirmed for Europe, the United States, Canada and Australia, but only the United States has details for all the distributions.

In the United States distribution, the majority will be online, with one every 3 months being an in-store code distribution.
