Mewtwo will be available as paid DLC in the future

If Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U are registered on Club Nintendo before Jan. 20, 2015 at 10:59 p.m. you will obtain Mewtwo for both versions of SSB4 and 2 exclusive CDs with the music from both versions of the game.

If both games are registered between 11:00 p.m. on Jan. 20, 2015 through March 31, 2015 at 10:59 p.m. players will receive Mewtwo for both versions of SSB4.

The codes for unlocking Mewtwo will be released in the Spring of 2015.

For the players who don't register both versions of SSB4, it has been confirmed that Mewtwo will be released as DLC to be purchased in the future.
