CoroCoro has revealed that Movie 16 will be called ''{{tt|Genesect of Godspeed|Genesect of ExtremeSpeed}}''. The movie will feature shiny {{p|Genesect}} and will released July 13, 2013. Movie 16 will be accompanied by a {{p|Pikachu}} short called ''Pikachu and {{p|Eevee}} Friends''.

Following the {{p|Kyogre}} and {{p|Groudon}} [[Tenth anniversary Groudon and Kyogre to be distributed in Japan|event distributions]], there will be a Genesect event from Jan. 11, 2013 until Feb. 20, 2013 at Pokémon Centers for the {{bp|Pokémon Black and White Versions|Pokémon Black and White}} and {{bp|Pokémon Black and White Versions 2|Pokémon Black 2 and White 2}} games.
