{{bp|Nintendo of Europe}} is sponsoring a series of {{bp|Movie Regigigas|event-only}} {{p|Regigigas}} distributions in the Netherlands and Spain. Both countries' download periods will end Aug. 30.

In the Netherlands, Regigigas will be distributed Aug. 29-30 during the Pokémon Day 2009 event at {{wp|Walibi World}} in {{wp|Biddinghuizen}}.

Spain will get two more distributions, the first from Aug. 15-16 in {{wp|Torredembarra}}, {{wp|Tarragona}}, and the second from Aug. 29-30 in {{wp|Sitges}}, near {{wp|Barcelona}}.

The distributions in Spain began July 11-12 in {{wp|Barbate}}, {{wp|Cádiz}}. Other downloads were offered July 18-19, July 25-26 and Aug. 1-2 in {{wp|Punta Umbria}}, {{wp|Huelva}}, {{wp|Torrox}}, {{wp|Málaga}} and {{wp|A Coruña}}, respectively. 

Regigigas will be available to players of {{game2|Diamond|Pearl|Platinum}}. The {{bp|level}} 100 {{bp|event Pokémon}} will be distributed in a {{bp|Cherish Ball}} while holding the {{bp|Custap Berry}}. It will know the moves {{m4|Iron Head|Rock Slide|Icy Wind|Crush Grip}}. Once it is in the player's {{bp|party}} in Platinum, the Regigigas will allow the player to enter the {{bp|Rock Peak Ruins|Rock Peak}}, {{bp|Iceberg Ruins|Iceberg}} and {{bp|Iron Ruins}}, where a level 30 {{p|Regirock}}, {{p|Regice}} and {{p|Registeel}} will be available, respectively.

These are not the first times Regigigas has been distributed in European countries. It was available during the Pokémon Day 2009 event in Italy July 18-19, and players can obtain it in the United Kingdom from July 25 to Sept. 7.

No distribution dates for other European countries have been announced.
