Update:  The English trailer has been released and the English site updated, giving further details.

A new Japanese trailer for Pokémon Sun and Moon has been released, which features a new Pokémon a new Alola Form, and more details on some information revealed in this month's CoroCoro such as Team Skull.

The new Pokémon Morelull is a Grass/Fairy-type Pokémon. It can have either Illuminate or Effect Spore as its Ability. It can learn the move Spore.

The new Pokémon Wishiwashi (which was revealed in CoroCoro) is a Water-type Pokémon. It has the new Ability Schooling, which changes its form. When Wishiwashi reaches a certain level (at most level 27), under certain conditions Schooling changes Solo Form into School Form by forming a school; when its HP is low, School changes it from School Form back to Solo Form. It can learn the moves Hydro Pump and Aqua Tail.

The new Pokémon Pyukumuku (which was revealed in CoroCoro) is a Water-type Pokémon. It has the new Ability Innards Out, which damages a Pokémon that knocks it out equal to the amount of HP Pyukumuku had. It can learn the move Pain Split.

Alolan Raichu is an Electric/Psychic-type Pokémon. It has the new Ability Surge Surfer, which doubles its Speed while Electric Terrain is active. It can learn Psychic and Thunderbolt. It levitates in the air by riding its tail as a surfboard using its psychic power and has blue eyes (resembling Puka's). Even Pokémon researchers don't know why Raichu's form changed in the Alola region, but the people of Alola guess it ate too many sweet and fluffy round pancakes.

Alolan Meowth (which was revealed in CoroCoro) is a Dark-type Pokémon. It can have either Pickup or Technician as its Ability, the same as regular Meowth. It can learn Pay Day. Meowth did not originally live in the Alola region, being sent to the royal family as an offering from another region. This caused these Meowth to live a life of luxury and pampering, which led them to have a selfish and prideful attitude, changing its form. When the monarchy was destroyed, Meowth became common feral Pokémon. There are two things they really hate: a wound to their pride and dirt on their coins.

Alolan Marowak (which was revealed in CoroCoro) is a Fire/Ghost-type Pokémon. It can have either Cursed Body or Lightning Rod as its Ability. It can learn Will-O-Wisp and what appears to be a new bone-based Ghost-type move. It evolves from regular Cubone. The Alola region is a harsh environment for Cubone and Marowak due to the abundance of Grass types, their natural enemies. As a result, they live in close union with their partners, their great care for their partners causing them to gain a sixth sense and thus change form. Alolan Marowak take bones and light both ends on fire by rubbing them against their foreheads, then spin the bones around.

Team Skull, the villainous team of the Alola region as revealed in CoroCoro, are featured in the new trailer. They are a group of ruffians who steal other people's Pokémon, mess up the trial sites, and delight in all kinds of evil deeds.

Guzma is the Team Skull Boss. He is described as battling without mercy, describing himself and destruction in human form. He is shown to use an Ariados that knows Fell Stinger (among other Pokémon). He has "a bone to pick" with Kukui, and mentions that both of them could never become Trial Captains.

Plumeria is a Team Skull Admin. In battle, she uses a Golbat (among other Pokémon). She describes herself as a big sister, and considers the other members of Team Skull to be her younger siblings.

Grunts have to buy their uniforms themselves. The Grunts are shown to use Zubat, Haunter and Drowzee.

Notably, the Grunts, Guzma, and Plumeria are all shown sending out Pokémon from non-standard Poké Balls.
