The preview starts off with Cynthia along with Ash, Iris and Cilan, walking nearby a shipyard located in the Eastern part of the Unova region. A couple of wild Water-type Pokémon from previous generations including Wingull, Wailord, Remoraid, Staryu and Krabby, are seen as well.

Dawn and her party

Spotlight then drops on Dawn and her reunion with the gang but it seems like her Piplup and Ash’s Oshawott have a bone to pick with each other over the legendary Pokémon, Meloetta. Meanwhile, Dawn’s Buneary is seen enjoying spending her time with Pikachu and still has a crush on him. Besides said happenings, Dawn and Iris are seen running away from an Onix.

Elite Four Caitlin

A few scenes from the World Tournament Junior Cup featuring a match between Cynthia, the Sinnoh League Champion against Caitlin, an Elite Four member in the Unova region, are also seen. Cynthia appears to be commanding her Garchomp to use Dragon Rush while Caitlin commands her Gothitelle to use an Electric-type move.

Along with that, a battle between the Dragon-type Pokémon Dragonite and Hydreigon is also featured. The preview ends with Iris sensing a strange vibe from a Dragonite.

Pokémon Best Wishes! season 2 is also set to make its TV Tokyo premiere on June 21.
