Episodes will be released every week until Friday, December 23, 2016, for a total of 18 episodes. ''Pokémon Generations'' will highlight key moments in the first six {{bp|generation}}s of the {{bp|core series}} games, from {{bp|Kanto}} to {{bp|Kalos}}. Characters that are set to appear include {{ga|Red}}, {{ga|Blue}}, {{bp|Giovanni}}, {{bp|Lorelei}}, {{bp|Bruno}}, {{bp|Lance}}, {{bp|Cyrus}}, {{bp|Looker}}, {{bp|Cheryl}}, {{bp|N}}, {{bp|Ghetsis}}, {{bp|Professor Sycamore}}, {{bp|Lysandre}}, and {{bp|AZ}}. Several pieces of concept art from ''Pokémon Generations'' have also been revealed. These include early drawings of N, {{tc|Team Plasma Grunt}}s, and Professor Sycamore, as well as shots of {{bp|Viridian Forest}}, {{bp|Relic Castle}}, and {{bp|Lumiose City}}.
